Is Anyone Still Under the Impression That Obama and the "Democrats" Are Any Different from "Republicans"?

Can you imagine Harry Truman repealing or fighting against the re-
adoption of the Glass Steagall Act?

Clinton repealed it; Bush II oversaw the looting, destruction and
concentrations of wealth and ownership that repeal enabled; and now
Obama’s fighting its re-adoption, just as their Wall Street puppet-
masters demanded and demand.

(Incidentally, the "Republican" wing of athe American Corporate
Plutocratic Party, having profited greatly from the repeal of Glass
Steagall, now only demand its re-adoption to embarass the "Democratic"
wing.)

All power and wealth to the wealthiest! anything less is class war!

Democratic Strategy

The economy has been steadily improving, but jobless rate improvement
lags.  However, by November that too should be much better.  So how
can Democrat’s exploit that?

1. Give Tea Party candidates a lot of attention, treating them as as
the real opposition. If they win the primaries, the rug will largely
be pulled out from under them come November. They will have pushed
themselves off the whacko right end, and the Democrats will take the
centrist vote, or the centrist Republicans will withdraw.

The Tea Party movement

The big government types whine about the Tea Party movement. This is ALL
it’s about. Why is this objectionable, you may ask?

http://www.teapartypatriots.org/Mission.aspx

Tea Party Patriots Mission Statement and Core Values

Mission Statement
The impetus for the Tea Party movement is excessive government spending and
taxation. Our mission is to attract, educate, organize, and mobilize our
fellow citizens to secure public policy consistent with our three core
values of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and
Free Markets.

Core Values

    * Fiscal Responsibility
    * Constitutionally Limited Government
    * Free Markets

Fiscal Responsibility: Fiscal Responsibility by government honors and
respects the freedom of the individual to spend the money that is the fruit
of their own labor. A constitutionally limited government, designed to
protect the blessings of liberty, must be fiscally responsible or it must
subject its citizenry to high levels of taxation that unjustly restrict the
liberty our Constitution was designed to protect. Such runaway deficit
spending as we now see in Washington D.C. compels us to take action as the
increasing national debt is a grave threat to our national sovereignty and
the personal and economic liberty of future generations.

Constitutionally Limited Government: We, the members of The Tea Party
Patriots, are inspired by our founding documents and regard the
Constitution of the United States to be the supreme law of the land. We
believe that it is possible to know the original intent of the government
our founders set forth, and stand in support of that intent. Like the
founders, we support states’ rights for those powers not expressly stated
in the Constitution. As the government is of the people, by the people and
for the people, in all other matters we support the personal liberty of the
individual, within the rule of law.

Free Markets: A free market is the economic consequence of personal
liberty. The founders believed that personal and economic freedom were
indivisible, as do we. Our current government’s interference distorts the
free market and inhibits the pursuit of individual and economic liberty.
Therefore, we support a return to the free market principles on which this
nation was founded and oppose government intervention into the operations
of private business.

Our Philosophy
Tea Party Patriots, Inc. as an organization believes in the Fiscal
Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government, and Free Markets. Tea
Party Patriots, Inc. is a non-partisan grassroots organization of
individuals united by our core values derived from the Declaration of
Independence, the Constitution of the United States of America, the Bill Of
Rights as explained in the Federalist Papers. We recognize and support the
strength of grassroots organization powered by activism and civic
responsibility at a local level. We hold that the United States is a
republic conceived by its architects as a nation whose people were granted
"unalienable rights" by our Creator. Chiefly among these are the rights to
"life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." The Tea Party Patriots stand
with our founders, as heirs to the republic, to claim our rights and duties
which preserve their legacy and our own. We hold, as did the founders, that
there exists an inherent benefit to our country when private property and
prosperity are secured by natural law and the rights of the individual.

Will a BAN on the Burka apply equally to men and women or just to Muslims ??

Will BAN on Burka’s apply to Men and Women equally ??.

Or will it ONLY apply to women , or Muslims ??
.
IF Jamie Briggs MP is HEAD of the Mount Barker " tribe , WHY does he
not wear a "Burka" as is the practice of a HEAD man in this district ,
when in Rome do as the Romans do , WHEN in Peramangk country he
should  do as Peramangk do or go back where he came from perhaps
.

The Peramangk are an Indigenous Australian people whose traditional
lands are primarily located in Adelaide Hills but also in the southern
stretches of the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia.

They were also referred to as the Mount Barker tribe, as their
numbers were noted to be greater around the Mount Barker summit[1],
but Peramangk country extended from the Barossa Valley in the north,
south  to Myponga, east to Mannum and west to the Mount Lofty Ranges.

The three tribes of the Adelaide region are , the Kaurna,
Ngarrindjeri and Peramangk,  reports tell that the Peramangk were held
with some reverence due to their differing cultural practices.[2]

Population and traditional practices are hard to verify as shortly
after the European settlement of the Adelaide Hills, they were FORCED
to move further  North away from traditional lands or die as white
christians forced the locals peoples to change  and  conform with the
new "European"  customs , by FORCE
Stages of Life of Peramangk Men

Burka

The fifth and final stage of a man’s life progress came with
greater maturity long after he had attained his Wilyaru status. By now
he was an older man usually with two or more wives and several
children (Yerlitta/Father). A ‘Burka’ man was often seen as the head
of his family and an elder of great knowledge who could be called upon
to mediate in disputes between individuals and different family and
culture groups. He would arrange marriages, set and conduct initiation
ceremonies of the groups’ younger members, he would lead songs and
dances at the Kombo-Kuri’s, and negotiate travels through another
groups country.

It was a sign of a ‘Burka’ mans power if he was able to provide for
his family and this was reflected in the number of wives and children
he was able to support. Often a Burka’s wives would be much younger
than himself, their marriages to him having been arranged at a Rainbow
ceremony not long after their birth.

Peramangk Burka men like Parruwongga.burka “King John”, had
responsibility and traditional ownership over at tract of land
(pangkara). John’s country extended from Mypolonga to Echunga, and he
was the traditional custodian of the Dreaming Lore for this
‘pangkara’. Parruwonggaburka was the father of Monarta who married
John Mason. With his death the ownership of the land passed to a
responsible male relative.

.
Description of indigenous people:
“A few of them might have a kangaroo skin wrapped around them to
cover their nakedness. ."
"I saw there a jacket which had been put together only from the skins
of small opossums by an aboriginal woman. It was so beautifully sewn
that few European women could do better. If you consider the tools
with which the job was done, it deserves greater admiration. The
thread had been made from kangaroo gut. A small bone sharpened to a
point at one end served instead of a needle.” “These people seem very
good-natured, at least those living in the region of the Onkaparinga
River. The general opinion is that beyond the Murray they are less
well-disposed. If they are not provoked they don’t harm any human
being.”
.

For millenia, Peramangk Aborigines had called the Adelaide Hills home.
These people learnt to survive in a climate often freezing in winter
and rather warm in summer. Short, though violent, spring and summer
thunderstorms followed sustained winter deluges of rain. Particularly
on the eastern ranges, lightning strikes burnt out huge tree trunks
and swept through vegetation, augmented periodically by human
firesticks when nature failed to oblige. The Aborigines used the
hollow gums for shelter and hunted down wild creatures fleeing into
the open to escape advancing flames. All living things alike
recognised the dangers of remaining anywhere near watercourses about
to burst into wild, uncontrolled flooding, which subsided as fast as
it had occurred.
Although not now known exactly, the Peramangk lived in a region with
definite borders against the Kaurna tribe of the Adelaide Plains to
the west and the Murray River tribes to the east. Tindale believed
that the name Peramangk could well have been of Kaurna origin, though,
meaning flesh of red colour
http://hahndorf.wikispot.org/Peramangk
.
The " very old men " wore full coverings most of the time to keep
warm , hence the name came to refer to the "most senior"  men ,
clearly retaining the word from earlier contact with  outsiders seen
in their ‘ Myth " of the " Two Mates " who visited from the north far
away

"Two Mates – Who travelled from other lands way up north to visit the
Peramangk people "

Cops Raid – Kill Dogs – Endanger children

I am watching video of police raiding (and killing) citizens in a
private home. These types of raids happen over 40,000 times every
year, often to people who are completely innocent (because the cops
raided the wrong address). In one case a man shot what he thought were
intruders, trying to protect himself, and then later was forced to
stand trial for murder even though it was the cops own fault (they
entered the wrong house).

Is this America? Or 1930s Germany, Italy, Spain?

Other botched raids:

ALSO: why should marijuana be illegal? It was given to us by our
Creator (either god or nature, depending upon your beliefs). The U.S.
Congress was never given the authority to outlaw a naturally-growing
plant. I can not lay my hand on any part of the Constitution where
they were given that power.  Alcohol Prohibition required an amendment
to enact – so too should marijuana prohibition.

New UK Prime Minister Inveighs Against "Selfishness"

Do you suppose the "selfishness" that the new British PM is inveighing
against is that of those who have benefited most from the British
plutocratic policies of recent years, in particular those in the City
who ran and profited from the Oil Bubble of 2006-7?

Call me cynical, but I doubt it.

[uk.politics cannot be posted to from Google Groups for some reason.]

The road the nation decided to take
produced a perfect Eldorado
to the most sordid and criminal speculators
the world has ever seen,
the type of citizen
who has no regard for the people, the nation, or honor,
and who cares not whom he ruins
or the effect of his acts on national or international life.
Many of them have borne great names;
they have been regarded as leaders
in the financial and social world;
they have influenced and dominated governments.

Obama lies on Afghanistan

In his press conference with Karzai, Obama lied that they were
fighting in Afghanistan to defeat Al Qaeda.

Yet Obama’s own generals estimate there are only 100 Al Qaeda left in
Afghanistan.

That can’t be the justification for such a massive expenditure.

That’s like going to protracted war against Monaco.

Australian welcomes Chinese Military leader as the USA and EU implode

Australian welcomes Chinese Military leader as the USA and EU

Senior Chinese military leader visits Australia
http://www.radioaustralia.net.au/asiapac/stories/201005/s2897801.htm

Updated May 12, 2010 19:59:48

One of China’s most senior military figures, Guo Boxiong, is in
Australia, in a continuing process of military and diplomatic
courtship.Pic and Bio
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guo_Boxiong
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xu_Caihou
.

It follows the visit to Australia last October of Peoples Liberation
Army chief of general staff, Chen Bingde.

Presenter: Linda Mottram
Speakers: Julie Bishop, Australian Opposition Foreign Affairs
spokeswoman; Kevin Rudd, Australian Prime Minister; Stephen Smith,
Australian Foreign Minister

    *

    *

MOTTRAM: The releas we of the Rudd government’s annual budget this
week has rekindled debate about how reliant Australia is on China ..
particularly Chinese commodity purchases, which in the past year have
helped enable Canberra to turn it’s budget around and predict a return
to budget surplus in three years, much faster than anticipated.

During vigorous budget debate in Parliament in Canberra, the
opposition’s Foreign Affairs spokeswoman Julie Bishop read what she
said were quotes from Prime Minister Rudd on China while speaking at a
dinner in the West Australian city of Perth last week.

BISHOP: When he said and I quote, we must broaden the economic base as
China could slow. I studied it, lived there and speak the language.  I
know China better than anyone here. It’s success can swing on one good
or bad decision.

RUDD: Of course I spoke to them about the long term challenges which
we face in North East Asia. And I said Mr Speaker that the importance
therefore of broadening the economic base of Australia by making sure
that the corporate tax rate was brought down across the country was a
sensible course of action.

MOTTRAM: The comments came to light on the eve of a very high level
Chinese visitor to Canberra this week.

Several senior Australian ministers, including the Defence minister
John Faulkner and Foreign minister Stephen Smith, will meet the vice
chairman of China’s Central Military Commission, General Guo Boxiong.

Canberra is saying little. Foreign minister Stephen Smith.

SMITH: It’s an important visit, I’m looking forward to the
conversation. We have a good relationship with China, economically and
more generally and I hope it’s a good conversation.

MOTTRAM: Mr Smith also confirmed that discussions will range widely .

SMITH: The importance of our economic relationship with China, the
fact that we now have a more broadly based relationship as well. I
conduct with my counterpart a strategic dialogue every year, the
importance of the relationship, but also the understanding that there
are some matters we have different views, and we’ve seen those in the
recent past but we have more than comfortably dealt with those given
the over riding strength and importance of the economic relations and
the relationship generally.

MOTTRAM: Observers say General Guo is a very senior member of the
single most prominent commission in China, chaired by Hu Jintao.
General Guo has in the past met with US Defence secretary Bill Gates.
The visit to Australia is one of a series, experts say, in Chinese
military diplomacy.
The PLA is the world’s largest military force, with approximately 3
million members (see List of countries by number of total troops), and
has the world’s largest (active) standing army, with approximately
2.25 million members (see List of countries by number of active
troops). see LINK below
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/People%27s_Liberation_Army

Last October, the chief of the general staff of the Peoples
Liberation Army, General Chen Bingde, (pron: BING-dur) also visited
Australia.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chen_Bingde
.

Australia is one of the few countries that maintains military
relations with China at the level of chief of the defence staff. One
observer describes General Guo as the big gun, as China courts
Australia at a time of shifting strategic influence in Asia in large
part of China’s economic and military rise.
.
Clearly the USA and EU are very much yesterdays empires that chose to
slowly bleed to death in endless UN WINNABLE wars for Israel ,http://

world this century
