General discussion of US politics

abortion

In a country where the crooks in Congress are giving themselves another
$5,000 pay raise,  they have avoided the subject,  by bringing up another
form of Abortion to argue.  As congress continues to allow monopolies,
mergers and downwaging,  while most of the middle class jobs are going
overseas,  the right wingnut media talks about this stupid debate about
whether it is ethical to use stem cells.  In a country where abortion has
been legal for years,  the dimwits are arguing about stem cells.  Anything
to keep the American people from realizing that the average AGI of the
bottom 75% of American tax returns average only $20,247.  And over 50%
average an AGI of $12,100.  If that isn’t the height of Hitler controlled
media,  what is?

So what?  In your 75% and 50% you are including both kids who have first
time summer jobs,  Retires who work part time just to keep busy.   A family
where the wife would prefer to stay home and take the care of the kids but
is FORCED to go to work just to pay taxes to support democratic give away
    programs.

And funny you use Hitler in  the same post where you talk about the ethical
use of killing another living human doing to do experiments on.   Yep sounds
    like Hitler.

Dozens of universities and research firms, along with the National
Institutes of Health, are devoting time and money to studying the
bioethics of stem-cell and other genetic research.  International
symposia on bioethics have been held in America, Europe, even Cuba.

If you think that bioethics is "stupid," then you are beyond the point
    of rational discourse.

Kids are included only if they filed tax returns,  most kids do not earn
enough to file tax returns or to need to have taxes withheld.  Few retirees
work just to keep busy,  they work because they were downwaged at around the
age of 50 and their American Dream ended.  Those 75% and 50% were the actual
number of tax returns so in about 50% of them they included two incomes.

Look at who gets elected among the democrats.  It is often someone
who is not that bright but is a "nice guy".  The current governor of
Indiana is typical of many democrats.  Or look at Rep. Julia Carson
from Indiana.  She is not the brightest bulb either.  Again typical for
    more elected democrats.

What we have to remember is that bright people do not often get
elected.  Bright people often do not have great people skills.  Gary
may think he is intelligence, he may even have a graduate degree.
But Gary is a good example of being jerk, he values his "intellect"
over getting along with people.  That is a good way to get fired from
jobs and how not to get elected.

As far as extreme wingnuts, what about the terrorists from ELF?  Or
the anarchists who are rioting everywhere in the world over G-8 and
WTO?  Even Gary is an extremist, so far out of the mainstream that
he really does not relate to the common man.  Gary is no "yuppie"
who make up the moderates that really run most corporations and
both parties.  And Gary’s views are too socialist for the average worker,
who favors gun ownership, religious involvement and are fairly traditional.
For example most workers, to include most African-Americans and
most Hispanics, are not in favor of Gay Rights.  Gary is which makes
    him a bit more extreme.

What we have here is someone pointing fingers at others to cover
    their own extremism.

Perhaps because he’s concerned that the Democrat who might replace

Back when the Democrats were a relevant party, they prided themselves on
their religious tolerance. That all changed about 10 or so years ago.

The extreme left became a force back in the in ’70s, forcing
out the older FDR types that were made up of socially conservative
workers and farmers.  As the extreme left had a large number of
college grads (the Vietnam War did us a favor by encouraging
kids to go to college), they displaced the workers within the party.

Then in the ’80s the yuppies started pushing out the left wing extremists.
Between both, there was no place for the working class democrats.  The
extreme left has big issues with religion, if for no other reason than it is
    a
force that rivals their belief systems.  That also has pushed away the more
    socially conservative working class democrats.

Look for a true Labor Party to rise up, maybe from the ashes of the
Reform Party.  Many union leaders have told me that they feel that it
is only a matter of time before there will be a Labor Party to represent
the views of the 70 percent of the population that is working class (non
    college educated).

Republicans on the right,  the wingnuts and loons have no idea what religion
is all about in practice.  They have lost any claim to being first in
religion just as they have lost any sense of fiscal responsibility to greed.
And I am not in favor of gay rights,  I am just tolerant of them up to a
    civil point.
