Suzanne N. Gunzburger
Broward County Commissioner – District 6
Chair of the [Broward] County Commission
* Member – Broward County Canvassing Board *
If Sue Gunzburger were to reveal her (real) modus operandi for Broward
County’s "recount" process, her admission would read something like
this: "I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of chad I
understand to be embraced within the shorthand description
‘pregnant-chad vote’; and perhaps I could never succeed in
intelligibly doing so. But I know one when I see it, and the pregnant
chad involved in every third case on average is a vote for Al Gore!"
Sue Gunzburger endorsed Bill Bradley in this year’s Democratic
presidential primaries, as Al Gore was too centrist for her!
From the "Sue Gunzburger – Democrat for Congress" campaign website
(circa November 1999 – re www.liberty1.com/electsue/)
"Broward County Commissioner Sue Gunzburger will be the leading
Democratic candidate in the race for the US House seat in Florida’s
District 20 when incumbent Congressman Peter Deutsch makes his next
move for higher office in 2000." [As it turns out, Deutsch didn't
vacate his U.S. House seat; instead, he decided to run for
re-election, and won in an uncontested (by the Republican Party, at
least) race. Democrat Bill Nelson ran for Florida's open U.S. Senate
seat, and was elected with 52% of the vote.]
"As a member of the National Organization for Women [NOW], the
National Council of Jewish Women, Voice for Choice and other similar
organizations, Sue Gunzburger has fought for years to protect a
woman’s right to choose. [She] is 100% pro-choice."
"As a feminist, Sue Gunzburger marched in Tallahassee in the early
1970s in support of the federal Equal Rights Amendment [ERA] for
women."
"As a longtime member of the National Organization for Women [NOW],
the Women’s Political Caucus and other organizations, Sue Gunzburger
has spent the past three decades fighting for equal pay for equal work
[as determined by bureaucrats]."
"Lifelong Democratic Party Volunteer."
"Co-Founder, Hills Democratic Club (Hollywood)."
"Leadership & Service Award, Hollywood Democratic Club."
"J.P. Helms Award for Government Leadership, Dolphin Democratic Club."
"Outstanding Leadership Award, Lauderhill Democratic Club."
"Legislator of the Year Award, Broward Environmental Coalition."
"B.S. in Education, Wayne State University (Detroit, Michigan)."
"Former Public School Classroom Teacher."
"Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work, Barry University (Miami,
Florida)."
"Professional Marriage & Family Counselor (MSW, LCSW)."
"Delegate, White House Conference on Families."
"Married to Gerry Gunzburger since 1960." [Gerard J. Gunzburger is
the chairman & CEO of BTW (Better Than Wood) Industries, Inc. - re
www.recycledplastic.com/.]

I think that pretty much explains how she was able to
creatively cook up another 500 votes for Gore.
