Telling the
> > "Rainbo Coalition/Operation PUSH that the Democrat party will "ensure
> equal
> > economic outcomes for all Americans" is very scary to anyone that believes
> > in free enterprise and Democracy. I think, the Republicans and the true
> > American Democrats should be screaming out to the public what this guy is
> up
> > to.

The biggest problem for the Dems is that the transition towards honesty
will initially be difficult, becuase of all of the sins (figuratively) that theyll
have to pay for. The best way to work on the problem is for grassroots
politicians to slowly take over the party, and without as strong a legacy
of deceit, it will be easier for them to progress.

My Dem-hater side wants to see some of the creeps to be found out
(even by the more stupid parts of their electorate) for what they
really are. However, that really isn't the most productive course
for the country, and so I tend to resist that attitude.

My GOP-hater side wants them to be less afraid to accurately
state their positions, and to avoid being swayed by the dishonest
Democrat rhetoric. Even as a middle-of the roader, 1/2 liberal
and 1/2 conservative, I find the GOP being too weak-knee'd,
being dishonest not because of the Democrat-style of purposeful
misleading and slanderous type statements (claims about GOPers
wanting to starve people), but because they are afraid to tell
the truth (due to a politically correct environment.)

As time goes on, if the Democrats (from the grass roots)
can take on the issues of ethics and honesty (keep away
from 'morality'), that will cause the GOP to have to compete
on issues other than their fall back of 'not being as
corrupt as a Dem.' Another VERY IMPORTANT goal
should be to improve education, but that is double
sided for the Dems. As HONEST people become more
aware (and those people are NOT in a dependency or
special interest group), they'll obviously question
the Democrat party tactics and history. It is VERY
important for the Dems to keep in bed with the NEA
and continue rewriting history (and sometimes creating
spin in realtime.) This helps to hide the truth about the
true effects of the Democrat policy on the poor (keeping
them poor), maintaning dependency so that the
fear factor keeps the current corrupt Democrats
from imploding on themselves.

Kyoto would have been the Democrat parties dream
come true in order to keep the SS and other welfare
programs in good shape: if you make it too expensive
for old and sick people to have airconditioning,
then more of them will die off. The people who
are well off, wont' be hurt (relatively so)...

John
I think, the Republicans and the true
> > American Democrats should be screaming out to the public what this guy is
> up
> > to.

The biggest problem for the Dems is that the transition towards honesty
will initially be difficult, becuase of all of the sins (figuratively) that theyll
have to pay for. The best way to work on the problem is for grassroots
politicians to slowly take over the party, and without as strong a legacy
of deceit, it will be easier for them to progress.

As time goes on, if the Democrats (from the grass roots)
can take on the issues of ethics and honesty (keep away
from ‘morality’), that will cause the GOP to have to compete
on issues other than their fall back of ‘not being as
corrupt as a Dem.’ Another VERY IMPORTANT goal
should be to improve education, but that is double
sided for the Dems. As HONEST people become more
aware (and those people are NOT in a dependency or
special interest group), they’ll obviously question
the Democrat party tactics and history. It is VERY
important for the Dems to keep in bed with the NEA
and continue rewriting history (and sometimes creating
spin in realtime.) This helps to hide the truth about the
true effects of the Democrat policy on the poor (keeping
them poor), maintaning dependency so that the
fear factor keeps the current corrupt Democrats
from imploding on themselves.

Kyoto would have been the Democrat parties dream
come true in order to keep the SS and other welfare
programs in good shape: if you make it too expensive
for old and sick people to have airconditioning,
then more of them will die off. The people who
are well off, wont’ be hurt (relatively so)…

It is my position that the Democrat party must lead the way. The reason is
primarily that the GOP only has to provide slightly better behavior than the
Dems, and that standard is very low.

The Dems SHOULD NOT be afraid of a few short term GOP victories, becuase
it is exactly the same kind of strategic senerio that often makes for long
term victories by those who invest in the future.

Look at it this way: the GOP pretty much has the relative honesty/ethics prize
(whatever that is worth), and if they make their position better, it will not
improve their position. The ONLY thing that could motivate the GOP to straighten
up their act is for the 'bar' (standards) to be raised by the Dems.

People who are trying to improve the Dems at the grass roots are the long term
future.

John

"DeWayne Guice" <guic...@bellsouth.net> wrote in message

news:wHTf7.4821$my6.331277@e3500-atl1.usenetserver.com...

- Hide quoted text -- Show quoted text -
> Perhaps making my party understand that we are all equally in need of
> leadership is a start.

> DeWayne Guice
> Catahoula Parish Democratic Executive Committee
> Harrisonburg, Louisiana
> "JD" <dy...@jdyson.com> wrote in message
> news:xV%c7.614$5N2.131909@news1.iquest.net...

> > "DeWayne Guice" <guic...@bellsouth.net> wrote in message
> > news:Mx_c7.16523$Ke7.566880@e3500-atl2.usenetserver.com...
> > > I applaud your "assumption" but obviously you not clear on my
> intentions.

> > My opinion, is that if you do ANYTHING to improve the Democrat party, it
> is
> > only good for the country.

> > John

Well, at least Daschle admitted that he was a communist.
